This is partially a rant about plastic which is so nastey. Plastics are filling up the ocean, seriously huge balls of it destroy and poison. Plastic polymers are sponges for PCBs and nonylphenols-oily toxics that don't dissolve in seawater. The oily toxics are already floating around in our ocean...isn't that gross? And it makes its way into our food chain too. Even if we don't eat seafood, cuz it is all connected...duh.
So buy bulk.

  • Thank you for spreading the word and doing your part to help save the planet from ignorance.

  • Thanks for noticing! Educating others can be so much fun! Simple changes make a difference.

  • we do all those things in our home. We even haul our recyclables to a friend's house b/c our Apt complex doesn't have a way to recycle. GREAT video. If everyone would do these few things, even a few times, it would have such an impact.

  • That is what I like to hear!

  • Keep up the good work!

  • Encouragement is inspiration... THANK YOU!!!

  • Containers in containers?! But boxes are containers D: So you mean we live in a box, drive in a box to work in a box then come home to our box and watch a box? Containerrrrs ):

  • There is a lost concept at my store. I went in with reusable fabric bags. The guy started putting groceries in the plastic bags, so I explained what I wanted regarding using the fabric bags instead. He looked confused, then put them in plastic bags which he then put inside my fabric bags. DUH.

  • Container Fight! :P

But how do you use the glass and such and leave out the containers they came in when you bought them? Also, those plastic rings cokes and such come in. They must be cut open so no animals or sea life get their necks caught in them, like turtles for instance. There are people who have to rescue the turtles from them.

  • Oh, I'd be honored! :D

  • What a great way to make a point! I'm going to have to use that. If you don't mind. :D

  • I know, right? Sometimes when someone asks me if I want a bag, I just tell them it's already in one! They always look at me with confusion in their eyes. :D
