I didn't say sub-normal people should be treated differently. I said there COULD BE A CASE MADE that the curriculum or material would have to be given to them in a different form, slower or whatever.
Public schools today are very quick to label a kid "learning disabled" or whatever, and I think it does tremendous damage to kids who are actually normal, but whose minds are neglected and even damaged under the public education agenda.
That is the point of special education, Cropper. The "normal" or "standard" education is altered per student per ability. This is called an IEP, which gets looked at annually. At that time, if the team which works on the student's case, finds that SpEd isn't appropriate, the student is moved into general ed.There are studies that explores what happens to these mis-diagnosed, but I haven't read them...
