How to get a GP4 2008 mod and trackpack by using CSM and TSM

Hello, I'm going to show you how to get a GP4 2008 mod, including trackpack, by using CSM and TSM. Hope this helps you!

Hello. I've installed gp4 with all the updates (9.6, 2005 update, etc.) and i wanted to try some mods. So I've installed CSM/TSM for 1988 mod. I don't know gp4, but once i installed PLUS trackpack i've installed also PLUS 1988 and finally 1988 trackpack. I get 17 tracks with names of 2001 season (but the layout is the right one ingame from 1988). How to change the name with TSM and choose only 16 race season (like in 1988)?

@goldengab To be honest... I really have no idea. I haven't played GP4 for a really long time, so I don't have a clue. Maybe if you search for it on google you'll get some answers :)

yes i did but it doesn't work. but why are the cars white when i am at onboard or out of the car...etc. just at cockpit camera i can see the full colours of the car

@xxChrissoxx that's a problem that happens alot. Just search on google to find the solution for that. It has something to do with the graphics settings of GP4, but I don't remember what. Also, I don't have GP4 installed anymore, so I don't know why it doesn't work.

yes but in GP4 and i click on hockenheimring for example there is the new track of hockenheim or any other track but when i start the game there is the old hockenheim and all the cars are just white..just the helmets are original :S what should I do? thx

@xxChrissoxx you also need to install the trackpack. If you don't install it, you won't get the tracks of the 2008 season

@goldengab The short answer is you can't. GP4 (and other Microprose GP games as they all just use the same engine, just modified for better graphics) are anal about the amount of tracks. You cannot have no more or no less than 17 tracks or 22 cars. That's why you are seeing 17 tracks with the mod instead of 16.

@xxChrissoxx if you open CSM, click on load and restore and it should be there after installation
