Roger Hooks, Jr. Multi-Champion and long time R/C Boat Racer has been testing to improve the Kyosho FMR 21V SII boat for some time. Available at kyosho.com. After many years of fierce competition from a kid to his adult years racing the best customized equipment, Roger now looks to help and encourage boaters and racers that aren't so fortunate in resources by finding race equipment readily available to most anyone and sharing his improvements to the equipment with simple bolt on enhancements to make modification achievable by most anyone along with world class performance. After years of testing and refinements, it looks like the Kyosho FMR 21v has finally come to life in race worthy fashion as you can see in this footage. The Kyosho takes on the best of the best in this heat against of fleet full of the classes finests, the 20 Seaducer. Driver's of the boats in this heat race include North American Model Boat Association (NAMBA) 6 lap Oval Heat Racing Record Holder and Multi-National Champions. There are no claims being made here. Simply watch and judge the performance of the boat for yourself. It is powered by a two-stroke nitro fueled combustion engine designed by Andy Brown at cmdracing.com. The engine is about the size of of an average man's fist. Power is enhanced with a OPS nitro pipe tuned pipe. We have made several modifications to the running hardware to make the boat stable at higher speeds. It spins a props about 1.5 inches in diameter. Take a look and judge for yourself. We will try some other things to squeeze more speed out of it. The speed was not recorded but I am estimating about 50 mph if not more.

  • Triple Uuuuuuuhhhhhhggggg. It's ok to have you own opinion but don't talk like people are supposed to do what you say just because you said it. If it doesn't hurt anybody or anything let it be and keep it moving.

  • Uuuuuhhhggggg. I hate when people write entire paragraphs on their dislike of a particular online posting. The beauty of online content is that you have choice to view it or not. If you dislike the use of the word "scale speed" you could have simply skipped my video. Now.... Double "Uuuuihhhhhg". Because I hate when people talk like they know what they are talking about especially when it just takes 2 more minutes on the internet to research just about any topic. In thi case "scale speed". So f

  • thats not 600 mph

  • @fishingman636 That is why I put the words "Scale Speed" in paranthesis to make sure it was clear even from the initial title. The boat is doing approximately 50 mph... This is not my estimation this is an estimation that used provided by those who commented on the speed as I did not have a radar gun or other devices on hand at the time. The boat is about 1/12th the scale of a full size boat similar to this style doing about 50 mph so 12 x 50= 600 (Scale Speed)

  • Damn... Another One Bites The Dust.!!!

  • @SpanishThug Huh???

  • uuuhg !! i wish people would stop using the term "scale speed" there is no such thing.these r model boats that are actually moving its not a computer simulation they r doing real speed -if the thing does 50mph jus say so n leave it at that.scale speed sounds soo rediculous it was an advertising scheme from the 90's that is still going around like aids.i run model boats and do actual speeds upwards of 50 and including 100mph and im sick of people asking "hey whats the scale speed on that thing?
