Bayan Ko/Lupang Hinirang (My Country/The Land That I love)

A different twist to Bayan Ko and Lupang Hinirang (Philippine national anthem). Appropriately so as we need a different approach to raising third world countries into the first world community starting with the Philippines (my country).

We claim to see but do we really see? Negativity dominates the headlines and we are constantly bombarded at all fronts. There is a choice and there is hope.

Blaming and bashing have to stop. Appreciation of beauty must go beyond the tourist spots on a postcard; patriotism and cultural celebrations have to go beyond the tinikling and lumpia. Change has to start with you and me - at the grassroots level; you and I together. Yes there is hope.
