Who Bombed Birmingham? (Part 6)

Director Mike Beckham draws on the facts in the case of two 1974 bomb attacks in Birmingham that left twenty-one dead, and six innocent men wrongly convicted. In this film, Beckham follows the efforts of World in Action researchers Ian MacBride and Chris Mullin in proving that the "Birmingham Six" only admitted to the bombing under extreme duress, and that the five IRA members were in fact responsible for the deadly attacks.

@paddyned5 These vile people placed bombs in public houses on a saturday night their intended victims were ordinary people out on a weekend. , I remember the incident, I remeber the documentary and I have read the books. Ignore the people who were convicted, that was appalling. Just concentrate on the victims, innocent people all of them. Cowardly scum for the action, cowardly scum for letting others take the blame. You have no right to be labeling these people 'Cowardly dirt and scum' when the British are guilty of worse, lets also not forget your basing these comments on a terrible, poorly made film, that is obviously not based entirely on fact.

@paddyned5 The evidence that this evil act was carried out by the ira is irrefutable. The idea that this bitch puts forward @ 0.40 "the brits did it themselves" is complete proof that many of the people of the day were so sickened by the sheer vileness of one of the biggest mass murders on the UK mainland that they had to enter denial rather than face up to the fact that the perpetrators were acting in their name. @Oldsoho ive read your comments on this all night and said nutin ,but you show me where the evidence is refutable because i dont know where you are gettin these ideas from, the six were let free not because of the terrible abuse they got but because the evidence against them was found out to be inconclusive... what you are writing has nothing behind it but your personal opinion

0.40 "The Brits did it themselves". This comment typifies the scummy cowardice of those who were responsible for the largest mass murder by terrorists in mainland Britain. They cannot even accept that what they did was wrong and even where the evidence is irrefutable they have to blame it on the innocent people of Birmingham whose crime was to out having a drink on Saturday nights. Cowardly dirt, cowardly scum, I leave the rest of the insults to those reading this.
