The Culinary Institute of America, San Antonio celebrated both its annual Latin Flavors, American Kitchens conference, from October 6th - 8th, and then capped off with celebration with its Grand Opening Fiesta on October 9th. More than 8,000 residents of the City of San Antonio joined us for the party, and gathered to learn more about how the CIA is helping to elevate both Latino foods, as well as Latino Chefs through its new El Sueno initiative. With chefs ranging from all-over Latin America and Mexico present, including chefs like Roberto Santibanez, Rick Bayless, and Johnny Hernandez, this video will give you an excellent overview of both the Conference as well as the new CIA, San Antonio.
