Why are you imferring that I suggested he was into any religion never mind established religion? Nothing in my comment suggests or implies any such thing.
He made his feelings about religion well known when he made his very relevant statement at the time that the Beatles meant more to most young kids than Christ.
He is greatly missed,all those classic songs, opinions and truisms that he never got the chance to enthrall us with.

@Kenmorfdublin What on earth are you on? John wasneither into established religion but his own faith - of the universe . and peace. He was not into religion but his view was that if we all stood for peace - there would be no war. No - no-one else could mobilise pll like him but that was John I believe like John - evolution and possibly a God. Sorry to criticize you but I think John was one person who would stand for nearly anyone. There lies the extreme tragedy. Missed still

@kassandrasduplex you have to also remember that one year later John Hinckley tried to kill president Reagan-do you ever stop and think that maybe Mark Chapman and John Hinckley just may have had a couple of loose screws upstairs and that their was no secret conspiracy in either case?
