Watch the video, he does that. And no, I'm not a Bush loving neocon. Sorry. My bad. I didn't mean to embarrass you by pointing out the false ad hominem logical fallacy you made. Carry on, loser.

And which "anti-second amendment nuts" have you found in this news broadcast?
It can't be Yoko Ono's younger brother since he's not advocating US gun control, but only wants his sister and nephew to reside in Japan where gun violence is lower than in the US.
Cronkite never stated that US gun laws should be changed, but merely explained the situation in Japan, and cited Regan's statement that he wouldn't tighten gun control.

Cronkite was right in what?
Nowhere in this story did Cronkite endorse tighter gun control.
He cited Yoko Ono's brother's concerns, explained the situation vis a vis gun violence and control in Japan, and cited Reagan's refusal to tighten gun laws.
No endorsements of either tighter, looser, or status quo gun laws in the US. Simply a report citing other people's response to Lennon's death and some explanatory background information.

Where did 'Uncle Walter' "exploits Lennon's death to push for gun control legislation"?
He cited Ono's brother about HIS concerns about US gun violence, then stated the uncontroversial facts that
A) Gun violence in Japan is virtually non-existent, and
B) It's almost impossible for private citizens to obtain guns in Japan.
Cronkite then cited Reagan's statement that Lennon's death should not be used to introduce tighter gun control.
Where's the endorsement of gun control legislation?

I love how Kronkite exploits Lennon's death to push for gun control legislation. What an asshat. Rahm Emanuel summed up the left worldview the best, "Never let a serious crisis go to waste."
