Converting DVD Main Movie to XVID with Original Audio on OSX

what percent does it finish at. i'm encoding it right now and its at 238%. there is also not the VOB.ff.avi.log in the folder

How do you take a avi or mp4 file and convert to where it is DVD FORMAT a.k.a. able to play on my PS2 or any other regular dvd player???

can you burn the movie file onto a dvd disc? if yes will a dvd player be able to read it?

when i autocrop the film it only selects a small portion of the screen to capture, I don't know why how can I get it to capture the whole screen? please help!!!
