One Shot Contest

He was my best friend. My very best friend.
I had other "best friends" but he was my favorite.
We lived next door to each other for our whole lives.
Actually he lived there before me, but who cares.
He was the most amazing boy ever, but I always loved him
As a friend nothing more.
He made me laugh when I wanted to cry
He always knew how to make my day special
You see there was something special about him
That I loved. He had Autism.
I never cared I liked him that way better
He seemed to understand every thing better then
Us "normal" people. He went to my school at first then his parents took
Him to another high school, but that seemed to be worse for him.
He would come home and cry I would hold him tightly till he stopped
It broke my heart to see him cry.
I loved every thing about him
I loved when he told me he loved me
I loved when he would try and tickle me
I loved how he was always there for me.
He meant everything to me you just don't know it.
Now that Joe is gone I have nothing
You see Joe was murdered by a couple of high freaks
They drugged him and stabbed him multiple times in the heart
I will never forget him. He was my best friend even more then that
There is not a word out there that could describe our friendship
He was just that amazing.
I miss him more and more each day
But I know he is in a better place now and
God is taking care of him.
