How to Tig Weld Brass. One way is to use AC and aluminum bronze tig rod.
If you have AC balance, set it for max penetration and use a tapered tip.
It helps if you use a argon helium mix because brass is very conductive and takes lots of heat input. Keep the arc over the puddle ...not the brass base metal ..and flow it ahead just a little at a time.

  • I have attempted brass for fun, some near paper thin shims we had around the shop. on a miller dynasty 350 dx and it did it just fine, with no pulse, Ill try to post a video of that eventually.
