It was an exciting day for those gathered at the Elmira Railway Museum recently as an authentic CN Rail caboose arrived at the site. The caboose, delivered by Seabrook Environmental Inc near Kensington, was built in 1943 and used on the PEI railway system for many years. After taken out of service, it was used for children's parties at McDonald's restaurant in Charlottetown before moving to Kensington, where it remained for a number of years before being hauled to Elmira.
