@noahsarcooo WE cant ignore the roll that Religeon is playing in all of these injustices. We needed to acknowlege the crimes of the Catholic and Christian churches in order to come out of the crusades and Salem Witch trials. Now we must also acknowlege, and scrutinuze the teaching of Islam in order to create sufficient pressure to affect reform within the Muslim community. It doesnt mean there is anything inherently wrong with Islam, but there is something wrong with Islamism

What is happening in Iran is exactly what is expected from a Muslim government. Don't forget when Arab Muslims took over Iran back in 600 AD, they burned all cities, libraries and killed everybody on their passing ways. Islam held Iran's progress back for centuries back then and again now. Islam is nothing but a cancer that needs to be removed from the face of the earth.

The great dilema of Baha'i religion is that they have broken with Islam. Originally it was a Sufi inspired reform movement of Shia Islam, but they broke with Islam taking many rituals with them.

If they hadn't broken with Islam, perhaps there would have been no space for those people that use Islam today to justify their ways of suppressing people.

Everything that Baha'i faith is, is taken from aspects of Islam, but they deny being Muslims, because that's politically correct in the west!

@noahsarcooo Well actually, as a former Muslim, I have to say that the Iranian government is acting quite accurately to the prophet Muhammad's example... But, needless to say, many Muslims, like Shohreh, reject that Muhammad's actions should be emulated, and that is what we need. More people like Shohreh Aghdashloo speaking out against religious persecution.
