I got a white Ushanka; loved it sooo much that now I have the Russian Navy one, the Grey Army one and the black one. They are so warm. I walk 4 blocks to work and they keep me warm in very cold windy weather. That cat just makes the video!

I bought a nice Ushanka but haven't had the chance to wear it out anywhere. Mine does indeed have the old Soviet symbol on it - I'm not going to get people calling me a Commie for wearing it with a hammer and sickle on it am I? I bought it because it looked like a great warm hat, not because I'm a commie or something...but people are foolish, no?
