linux on a pc is much better then any windows os, but.. I still like my mac.. and my pc.. running linux.. I think they both are good in their own right.. even though mac is still a wee bit overpriced.. I mean I have an original apple 2, a computer over 20 years old that still runs proficiently.. so apple does make long lasting quality.. but a 13" macbook pro for 1200 is.. well.. steep to say the least.. and it only goes up from there. But I love both.. so whatever.. fuck all the fanboys..

@geovanni05 Mac is good for specific uses, thats it, there is not disputing mac being great for picture / video / audio editing, hands down mac has that shit on lockdown and i love using mac for that purpose, but thats about it, as far as a personal computer, i will take my laptop duel booting W7 & ubuntu. if you want a super light OS with like zero chance of viruses get a ubuntu. I installed ubuntu on one of my netbooks and it runs super quick i love it! ohh and its free...

@bfedorick if you ask me apple limits the function of all of its products, which is why i do not support apple, why would i buy an ipod with limited storage? no external memory?! fuck that! iphone? same deal, no i got a wp7 it came with 8GB internal and i bought a 32GB EXTERNAL card now ive got damn near 40GB, and wifi tethering, same deal with the ipad, no ability to increase storage, no true usb host, apple does these things on purpose they force you to spend $100 for a few gigs of mem

you know why mac has less issues as far as spyware and shit is because nobody uses mac, if mac had as many users as windows then it would have just as many issues as far as third party software - which comes from third party's because Microsoft does not manufacture computers, all computers using windows are going to have third party software... unless you build your own rig like i do and save hundreds of dollars and have a machine that is 10 times more powerful... ohh and W7 kicks ass.
