A drop of concentrated sulfuric acid is added to a pile of potassium chlorate and powdered sugar producing smoke and a large purple flame. With calcium chloride mixed in for that red color.

  • nice vid bu is it potassium chloride or chlorate

  • chlorate...potassium chloride (KCl) is a pretty docile salt. however potassium perchlorate can be used in this reaction as well
