I had the privilege of singing with Diane White at my university in Canada in 1995. We were so out of our league with her, but her talent and patience more than made up for it.
It was the funnest experience I ever had in music.
Actually it's not a hymn. The beginning part is taken from scripture (the lyrics, that is) but it's her original composition. Copyrighted, recorded on her CD, 'Dr. Dee: Live in DC' and published by LCW Publishing.
I was in the 5th annual Ithaca Gospel Music festival this past weekend! It was awesome. It was the BEST experience of my life.

We're singing her "My Heart Says Yes" this year, and I had the solo for her arrangement of "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen."
Dr. White's range is RI-DANG-DICULOUS!!!! She blesses my soul each year at the Hampton Minister's Conference!
