@karlahardy13 If any real emphasis was placed on AIDS there would be a cure by now and secondly more and more people are dying from hunger.Whether we like it or not there are people out there who will murder/beat someone no matter what there sexuality is,so don't think that homosexuals are the only ones who are subjected to HATE!!

@leahl36 stop placing so much emphasis? If we didn't, then there would sure as hell a lot more of this hate, violent acts, and murder against them. Homosexuals are PEOPLE, they have the right to love, and be loved in return, by the person of any sex- why should the gender of a person even matter? They can always adopt. There's another problem solved- homeless kids & over population. Think before you speak, there's a lot of emphasis on starvation, cancer and AIDS, not just homophobia.
