Odile Rising - Princess Kraehe Tribute

I was originally going to use the song 'As the Shadows Dance' by Theatre of Tragedy, but I left that for a future project. Another song I was originally going to use was 'The Other Promise' from KH2: Final Mix.

This is a Kraehe/Rue tribute, since she's my favorite character. This is also another video I am considering to enter into an AMV contest at whatever con I go to (most likely Anime Boston). At the same time, however, I don't find this video to be 'contest-quality', but I am a horrible self-critic and hate all work that I produce.

So, I leave it to you, the viewer to decide whether this is indeed 'contest quality'. I can take harsh comments with reasons and notes to know for the future. I am, after all, a novice at making AMVs.

I've never seen Swan Lake but the costumes might be on purpose like that. If only because they are the 'swans' of the story line.

The names Odette and Odile remind /me/ of a story my Mercedes Lachey called 'The Black Swan', which is basically The Swan Princess re-invented with more than swan. The main characters being Odile, the sorcerer's daughter and a sorceress in her own right.

Oh, and the Queen's evil.

It is quite nice, but for a con you may want to consider finding better quality clips. It is a bit blurry at times even at the small size, on a big projection screen it will probably look awful. I also watched your Odette Rising, which I liked a bit better. Of course, I haven't watched Death Note, so the song wasn't anything to me other than a nice instrumental. Others may feel differently. The same thing can be said of the quality of Odette Rising though, so you may want to keep that in mind.
