I would have very much appreciated if you`d have approached the main riff of "Blackened". I find it equally relevant to Jame`s hetfield`s style and personally it`s giving me headaches

@manusuperdumnezeu I love that riff. It's brutal and probably one of the hardest riffs he wrote. I offer online services if you want to sit down for 30min and bang that riff out (tab included)

just a little side note. im sure someone has mentioned this. but the ride the lightning riff you described was written by dave mustaine. look at wake up dead, he uses something almost exactly like it. just saying

Got a question for you: Do you know why exactly Metallica play their live songs tuned a half step down? Is it to save James' voice a bit? Does that half tone down help that much?
