The Blond Bombers (Wayne Farris, Larry Latham), clearly happy with themselves today, mug for the camera and answer a few of Lance Russell's stupid questions before walking away disgusted. Wayne Farris has shown that he's competent main event talent and a natural team leader that can also deliver a great promo.
Date: June 23, 1979

It's cool to see these guys in their early days before the big change in characters. Gotta love youtube

I've never seen Larry looking so good, lol. I remember him more as a beer-bellied, crazy-looking dude when he was Spot. Underrated wrestler for sure.

Spot...may I add unfortunatly passed away. God rest his soul. A great wrestler that he was and prayers out to his family. A great one and one that wil always be remembered.

I never knew that Wayne Farris was ( is ) "The Honkey Tonk Man." Is this true?
A great calling for Wayne and he played it off well.
As for Spot...I think he is the one that passed away during a match of the legends held at the Fed Ex Forums against Jerry Lawler. Help me on the story on this as well.

@detroitdublin Did you know that Spot wasn't one of the original Moondogs though, the original Moondogs were Rex and King, but King (who was from Canada) had problems with his work visa and wasn't allowed back into the states to defend his WWF tag title,.so they replaced him with Latham

The other guy, Larry Latham, was also known as one of the Moondogs. He was Moondog Spot.

@Trumantop1 Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. He should've played the big hit on Lance Russell. :)
