I'm British and that was v good ippon, I don't care what nationality they are, good judo is good judo no matter where you come from, that's all that matters.

@michael1608 Thanks Michael. The comment was aimed at a previous poster (which prompted my original question about how many olympic medals US have). My niece trains with English squad at the mo, so I'm hoping she is going to be one of the continuing 'quality' ;-)

@moominpic I don't think Brits suck at all. They have produced quality judoka over several decades.

@michael1608 That's pretty impressive. Still, 6 less medals than Britain (who are just above US), so Brits can't such THAT much. Now wrestling might be a different matter... ;-)
