"Merry Gasmas" Part 2

Brent must find a way to cope when he finds out that Emma has plans for a traditional Christmas. Lacey has decided to head home to Toronto for the holidays but thanks to weather ends up taking the scenic route which while getting her home doesn't get her to Toronto. Meanwhile the holiday spirit moves Hank to organize a gift drive for a needy family who seem oddly unappreciative. Meanwhile, Wanda struggles to get her hands on the season's hottest toy again and again and again.

It was actually filmed on location in the summer with the rest of the episodes. They talk about it in the corner gas book. All the snow is fake and all the inside shots were filmed in a studio in Regina etc so they could avoid the huge cost of having to shoot in the winter.

A lot of people seem confused about the YYZ and YEG etc...

First of all they're airport codes...they're not a Canadian thing they're a global thing...like LAX

Second of all, Canadians use both zee and zed, although I live in Saskatchewan and I must say I find it odd when people use zed instead of zee which is actually pretty rare

It's not like Canadians are incapable of saying zee...saying zed is more of a stereotype

If you all looked behind Brent as he walks into the gas station. There's snow. It was gloomy and snowy, this episode must have been the last thing the filmed out on location to get the look of it. It usually snows in Saskatchewan in October. Might have been the first snow fall and they added the rest since it was chilly.

@rockerchick1500 In the Corner Gas book - Brent explains that there were several takes the one with the pronunication 'zee' was the best performance and they used it - he also explains that Canada is culturally in the middle of the States and Britain so would hear both zed and zee used in Canada!

How cum there's no snow in dog rivier but there's snow all around it. Ps I know canada is not covered in snow because I live in Canada and it's like 30 today.
