A video interview with author David Weber covering his writing, how he came to write military science fiction, favorite authors, and that which lies beneath his writing.
The first book I read of Mr. Webers was of the Russian woman who came from the future and fell out of the sky. I then fell in love with her. (Can't think of the title at the moment.) Ever since that first book I have been a real fan of his books. He has a base and scope to make those worlds he writes about, and the charactors created, to make them live and fill the empty longing in the reader few other sci-fi writers are able to do. Love his efforts and stories. A real treat to hear him, too.
Its far better than StarFist. Weber's writing can veer slightly towards the cheesy at times, but he's much better at plotting and characterization than Sherman. There's a lot more honest emotion in it.
