how did the gizmondo fail so badly? i could sit around anywere doing that sort of stuff all day and never get bored.

So this is where InviZimals came from.
Gizmondo and then to PSP, the same idea, improved a bit.
I bought InviZimals but it sucks, gives me headaches if I ever play it.

It failed because they marketed it in everywhich way *except* its potential for augmented reality applications. They had a unique saleing point, and didnt use it.

it had realy bad manegment
the consol was good just the company that sucked
the gizmondo had great potential
it still has and its a very usefull thing to have
not even the latest tomtom satnav unit can do what the gizmondo does

at least this way people see how dumb und uninformed those FAKE posters are. in former times (do some still?) some people were so glad they could write "first", now the "fake" posters took their place. go inform you and up to this time stop posting those things, please!

Being the author of this work I fell honored that some people obviously can't believe that this can be true. Thanks! But it is real, you can download the demo from our webpage and try it yourself.
BTW: This is an ongoing research project for more than 4 years now. we have published and demonstrated work like this many times now...
