CGRundertow THE OREGON TRAIL for Nintendo 3DS Video Game Review

The Oregon Trail review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Oregon Trail from Red Wagon Games for the Nintendo 3DS. The original Oregon Trail is still one of the best edutainment games ever, but this remake pales it comparison. Like the original, you have to lead your family from Missouri to Oregon, embarking on a long and difficult journey up the famous Oregon Trail. You head west with as many supplies as you can carry, but that 2,000 mile road through untamed wilderness has a way of sapping those supplies in a hurry. The objective is to get to Oregon with your wagon in tact and your family alive. Derek didn't make it to Oregon in this remake, but that's because the game was too terrible to keep playing. I never grew up with the original OT. I played the Oregon Trail 2 when I was in elementary school.The 2nd game was much more scarier and made an impact on kids because of the use of the photo-realisticness.

WTF? I just heard about virtualapple and that I could play Oregon Trail on there, so I tried it, and made it to Oregon on my first try, by disregarding everything.

I expected Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob and Bob to die in a matter of seconds, but after a few minutes the game was over.

The reason the buffalo were endangered is because people back then would shoot 25 of them and only be able to carry one back to the convoy
