Super Meat Boy Girl Boy Achievement No Death Light World Chapter 7 The Cotton Alley

Hello, I'm bullexcrements and this is Cotton Alley no deaths run.

Description of the levels in order:

7 - Fans. Nothing else to mention, the most random level in the entire chapter for me, goes first

6 - This one isn't so hard at all, but better make it in the beginning, because it requires few really precise jumps

2 - The key is to make the shortest possible wall stick and fast turn around in the bottom

1 - Nothing special, just few precise jumps

3 - 100 percent safe route

15 - I'm really proud of my route here :P It was hard as hell to find consistent path between these black shits, but I made it. It's nearly 100 percent effective

16 - Well, I don't have any technique about this level. It's just a bit of luck. So why do I make it as 7th level in order? Because I'm fucked up :)

14 - Piece of cake. Grab 2 keys in first jump, and 2 others in second. If you fail, you can repeat it at least 2 times (untill walls collapse for good :)

20 - Only pain here are these little saws in the ground near end of the level. If you're there, just look at nearest saw and when bandage girl gets near it, jump. So - look at the saws, not bandage girl

19 - Well, there's no place for huge mistakes, because level becomes a prison if you're too slow :P 2 little saws make it even happier, but technique about looking at them sometimes lets you pass this level

11 - I don't have much to write about it. Move and jump when rocket launcher shoots, be patient and precise.

PHONECALL NO 1

17 - 100 percent safe route. You jump over first 3 rockets, then walljump and run before cannons reload. That's about it :P

PHONECALL NO 2 :D

4 - As you can see, you only need to avoid one flying saw. The rest is piece of cake (in the Cotton Alley terms of piece-of-cake :D)

9 - Avoid saws? Dunno, this level is just easy

10 - Run, get the key, get back to the safe place. Wait until rocket launchers reload, so they will shoot the same every time. Repeat several times :P

5 - You can pass this level in 2 different styles. 1 - run like hell between these violet bubbles, and make time around 7 seconds. 2 - if you're trying to get Girl Boy - DON'T TRY TO SPEEDRUN :P I died few times just because I was impatient

18 - This is the most consistent way in this level. Which still makes it 50 percent sure, when your hands are shaking and sweating :D:D

12 - If you'll feel the rhytm of the saws, it will become one of the easiest levels of the entire game.

13 - And here's Pepto. Level, that almost made me cry when I died FEW TIMES trying to get Girl Boy. And what is more fun, I didn't die trying to make walljump at the start. I died at places I didn't die before :D

8 - Final level of the run is just a joke if you run using route I used. It would fit in the 1st chapter of the game, I don't know how did it get to the Cotton Alley, probably just by mistake :P



FAQ:

+ You didn't get the Girl Boy achievement steam pop up. You is cheat!
- Nope, I got it 10th of February, but I didn't record it. This is just re-run with fraps.

+ You made fragmented runs at all levels and edited it, so it looks like complete run! You is cheat!
- Nope, if you practice a lot, find tactic for every level and put it in order you like, there's huge chance (I'd say, about 0,17 percent) to finish whole run with no deaths

+ Which levels were the biggest pain in the ass for you?
- Well, levels 20 and 19 were tough, but only because of these little ground-saws. Train Eater (11) was painful, because I have fraps lag at start of the level. But real pain is to fuck up the run because of some stupid mistake at one of the last levels. The winner here is Pepto (13) - I fucked up the run FEW TIMES at this level, and not at the first walljump, but in random places, argh.. :D

1) you don't have to do levels in 1 - 20 order

2) you can die at first level as many times as you want (and if you pass it you must pass the rest with no deaths ofkz)

3) if chapter allows you - you can change characters during run (excluding meat ninja and steve)

4) and here's the best (or worst) thing - if you're about to die, you can press Esc, go back to map and try the level again

good job, i'm glad to see, that you have found out your own way to complete the levels ^^ and yes, grats to "no hax", but i am still the first one who uploaded the girlboy and got it captured for youtube with steam popup :P

if you are going for impossible boy,. dont forget the steam overlay ^^

@extreemru Yea, I don't deny, that you were the first one and you have achievement popup :D I didn't perform this run to be 1st one, but I wrote at supermeatboy official forum that I'll do it, and I did it ;) About routes - in platformers I always try to find my own ways, that's the whole point of playing this kind of games. And about Impossible Boy I left a comment at your movie's page :)
