Petter Solberg at Eastern Creek Raceway

This was a WRC promotional evening organised by Subaru Australia for members of the Impreza WRX Club of New South Wales and owners of new STi's purchased from either SVM Subaru or Tynans Subaru. The event was held at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney Australia way back in November 2004.

Guests of honour were Petter Solberg and Cody Crocker who put on a show for everyone on Eastern Creek's skidpan. This clip only shows the antics Petter put on for everyone with a bit of Cody at the end.

The car Petter used was a brand new just-released MY05 (not MY04) STi and in classic Petter style, he put it through its paces. The car Petter drove was later sold as a used staff car through SVM Subaru, however whoever bought it would never have known Petter drove it due to Australian Law preventing such "fame" promotion. :)
