  • Calling pre-agricultural revolution gender roles 'equal' might be deceptive. There's no patriarchy or presumed superiority/actual dominance by one gender over the other, but the jobs carried out by the two genders within forager societies are not necessarily the same.

  • @KenmoreT Addressed in the video before this- it's linked in the dooblydoo.

  • Disagree on the haircut - you like like Nano in his cockroach ear picture! (p.s. this is you cousin Leo, not some creepy stalker.)

  • @lennie1987 Porque no los dos?

  • WHAT?! I'M THE ONE WHO HAS TO HAVE THE BABY?! D:

  • We're currently studying the roaring twenties in socials class and I find the amount of inequality back then GROSSLY despicable! In Canada, women weren't considered people until 1929. That's the year both my grandmothers were born, so I hardly want to imagine how badly they had it. I can't comprehend how a human being would want to oppress another, yet it seems like it's something that will continue to last for an enormous amount of time. :(

  • I loved today's Crash Course. And I never thought of the Agriculture Revolution as something that affected gender studies that much (I do like history, but generally, I focus on American History)

  • yay gender studies!

  • Hey Jon, great to see another of your videos up =) Saw the crash course video too, really informative. Congrats on the 1000 subs by the way, must have missed whenever that happened xD I hate to pry, and this may not be the most appropriate place to ask, but do you know what's happening with Kym? Haven't seen any of her videos up in a while...

Anyway, great video, been loving your channel for a long time, DFTBA.
