Thank Vincentdeep for this post, his suggestion. This is a great song and you know, if listening to this song doesn't make you want to go out and learn Electric Guitar immediately then my suggestion is, kill yourself. Because your dreams have died long ago never to return again. Either that or just get a desk job, enjoy my friends!

Trower is one of the more under appreciated guitar players who often gets lost in the discussion. He is falsely accused of copying JMH. The influence was profound, especially the 69-70 Hendrix incarnation, but Trower incorporates Jimi Hendrix and fuses him with his own vision and style. He loves the Hendrix Afro-funk and his deep appreciation for black music inspired him. Trower is no pretty boy, just straight up psychedelic funk, what George Clinton called funkadelic. Ups for posting.

Yeah, with the exception of just a few 80s/90s bands, rock has to be at least as as old as Trower or Henry Gross for me to be passionate about it. I wish somebody would post caledonia from the bridge of sighs album :-/.
