I saw Eddie when he completed his London marathon. For a guy in his condition, he looks great- still very handsome indeed. He's shown the same courage that made him a star and a superb motorcyclist.

it's a shame that bitch wife sister f Leslie Ash dumped him when he got paralysed.
eddie has doubled for Harrison ford and done Bond Movies. The guy is a legend and got plenty of balls.
Great to heare he remarried a decent woman now and doing the marathon. He's an inspiration and dont forget it

Eddies doin well now. He still uses a wheelchair but has bn able 2 walk with a frame. He walked down the aisle when he got married last year with the help of his best man. A special walkin frame's been built for him & hes in trainin 4 the London Marathon this yr. It will take him about a week or more but he IS going to do it & finish it. He's doing it for charity.

I just saw Eddie Kidd on tv in a wheelchair, barely able to speak - to see him go from this to that is very sad indeed :(

Thanks for mentioning his name, I didn't know who the actor was.
However, I just looked him up and it seemed his health had improved and he wasn't in his wheelchair any more.

He was improving but he's deteriorated over the last 6 months - there's an article about it in the Eastbourne Herald called 'Eddie Kidd is struggling to cope', dated 29 March 2009. He was on the Paul O'Grady show tonight , back in his wheelchair and barely able to speak. Poor guy.

Oh, that's really sad to hear. I hope his condition will improve, although it seems unlikely he will ever be the same again. Thanks for the info though.
