@Macsk8ing yeah, i hate it when companies give you a bunch of shit you dont need. it just annoys me with the stupid idiotic effects they come up with these days. this sounds like a good decent pedal though, because i have heard it on many different videos which use tube amps and have their own presets set already, and they have very warm tones you could only get from a tube amp! also, keep in mind that hes just skimming through the sounds, and you can tweak the amp settings on this

For no tweaking of your guitar or the RP I think there is quite a deversity of amps with this unit. Thanks for another great demo Tone King.

Who needs all this crap? my friend has the 1000, and it sounds l ike shit because digital pedal's sound depend a lot of the amp, all you need to get is a good amp and a simple  footswitch. I have the digitech rp 255, I use it as a footswitch and wah pedal, and it sounds heavenly, no need of this shit.

@pithor Mate he just runs amp sims without any real tweaking just for a quick demo.This unit can do anything and if you think that boss can hold a candle to digitech as far as amp sims are concerned then you havent researched it enought.Works great with your amp..great straight to the pa..using 4 cable method to access separately your preamp and poweramp stage of your amp and mix it with the unit..This thing is the best mfx unit available right now hands down.Dont let a shitty demo fool you.

After hearing this, I would never buy an RP1000.

I own a GNX4 which is good (but too complex) and my Boss ME70 is best.

A good pedal system should be giving a great SRV tone... not trash can sounds.

@Asalazar77795 If he used the 4 cable method wouldn't he be wanting to utilize the main amps preamp instead of the preamps coming out of the RP1000?? The best way to demo the unit would be to go straight into the front' channel (which he did) or go through the FX return input at the back...
