Metroid Prime 2 Echoes: Part 102 (Vs. Quadraxis)

Welcome to part 102 of my Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Walkthrough. I will be starting a lot of my videos from the save point, or before the next major event.

--It's time to fight the last temple boss! Quadraxis is one huge beast, but don't let the size scare you. This boss is actually pretty simple, it just requires several steps to cause damage.

First off, destroy the feet weak spots so that Quadraxis can't use the shock wave. This is not necessary, however it will make life a lot easier without worrying about the shock waves. If you're low on energy, destroying the weak points often gives out golden energy orbs.

Once you destroy the feet weak points, the knees will blink blue. The ones that blink blue are the ones that are susceptible to damage. Once doing enough damage to a knee, the joint will break and you'll have to repeat this process 4 times to destroy all 4 knee joints.

Quadraxis is like any quad. It will spin in an attempt to suck you into the vortex, but shoot a super missile at the base and it will disrupt the spin. Boosting into it will also stop the spinning.

Quadraxis will attempt to lock on to you but boost out of the way to avoid damage.

Once all 4 knee joints are destroyed, this will trigger the second battle phase where Quadraxis head will separate from its body.

it would've been epic if they had put another monster instead of quadraxis there, and when samus looks at it sayin "omg he will most likely take life!" then she stays there for a sec and she says "phew" and then qudraxis falls from the sky breaking the other monster XD would b epic XD

hahaha, aww, I remember that time 3 years ago, when i defeated quadraxis, i finished with one tank of life, and when i was running to the temple, dark aether killed me xDDD

You know, instead of Boosting through the glowing feet things, you can shoot Super Missiles at it's elbows, the ones outlined in blue. Just a heads up, made it a lot easier for me.
