This was supposed to be season 2. I made this vid before the one I ultimately ended up calling season 2. I didn't think it was very good, however I re watched it recently and kinda enjoyed it. maybe someone will like it.
The premise is; right after the fight with Duncan in season 1 Richie decides to quit the game. He leaves town and ends up renting a cheap room at a church run boarding house on holy ground. He finds himself absorbed into the group of odd characters that live in the boarding house. A friendship develops between Richie and the unconventional priest, Father Mathew, that runs the house that becomes his occasional sidekick/mentor/comedy relief. Richie gets in a lot of trouble, from Immortal fights to a car theft ring but the big conflict of the season is when he becomes the target of an entity claiming to be the source of all evil, (Arimon from season 4 of Highlander) for an unknown agenda.

Richie was also starting to show his age. but then again, so was Duncan. watch the first episode then watch the last one with richie. hated to see it end though.

@nadjalee2000 The actor wanted to leave the show, so they killed off the character.

If anyone should have a spinoff its Methos...Richie was cool but Methos has more history

I think they made a huge mistake when they killed Richie, but he really didn't have enough of a history to be the lead in a spinoff. Methos, maybe, but not Richie.

Richie should have had a spinoff or been in one. At the very least they shouldn't have killed him. Stupid writers. Thanks for the great vid! :)

This is great - but personally I think that Richie wasn`t strong enough to stand the challenges of a spin- off!!^^ Five stars!!
