Unsolicited demonstration video from FISHPILE.COM

Watch the effects ethanol gas from the pumps has while its in the fuel tank of your boat. Not an experiment. It's fact and you'll see it right here and now. Sponsored by fishpile.com

Another GREAT reason to NOT use additives that contain more alcohol!

    EVAPORATIVE COOLING AND CONDENSATION

Evaporation is the process by which molecules in a liquid escape into the gas phase. As the most energetic molecules evaporate into the gas, the average energy of the molecules left behind decreases, so the liquid cools.

You might have noticed that when you pour alcohol on your skin, it cools your skin more than when you pour water on it. This reflects the greater volatility, or tendency to evaporate, of the alcohol. This cooling effect causes condensation.

Very important video, with great comments. Thanks!

Been aware of ethanol smells and its dizzying/sickening effects on the highway for the past couple of years -- most notably during precipitation (even fog) or going across bridges.

If flex fuels are wrecking our engines, consider what this known toxin is doing to our lungs & bodies (which are mostly water). As the ethanol/gas ratio increases, so does its resultant destruction.

Obviously, the hawkers of this cocktail are making a killing.

    Good Video,

I keep a fan running in my garage to help try up moisture. where I store my

Atv and tractor , the fan in the garage helps wick away any moisture in the air I use sta bil and Lucas and have not had any problems , What do you Think

Shoving ethanol down our throats is just another government fad. I have found many stations in my town that sell pure gas and thats what i buy. It's wrong I have to pay 15 cent extra per gallon for normal gas though. But repairs in my small 2 cycle engines would cost me more in the long run.

I even had to have the filler neck grommet replaced in my car when I bought it cause ethanol ate the rubber away.

Thanks Jeff for making an excellent video !

This Ethanol crap has got to go ! It destroys engine parts and stops engines dead !

Not to mention the cost of food, fertilizer, and everything else that has to do with corn production.

Wake up America Ethanol is not the answer,

Try the same experiment with pure gasoline. You will get the same condensation due to evaporating the gasoline. This has nothing to do with ethanol.

Ethanol is a good source of clean fuel for almost all gasoline powered engines. The maximum amount of ethanol you can mix with gasoline is 50%. The more Ethanol you mix, the less fuel efficient your engine becomes. Also please remember that Ethanol cannot be used in 2 stroke engines because 2 stroke oil does not properly mix with Ethanol. There are some vehicles which allow up to 85% Ethanol. They are called E85 vehicles.

there is a thing that injects water into your engine so u can use higher compression ratio because the gas now is so suck ass.
