Unsolicited demonstration video from FISHPILE.COM

Watch the effects ethanol gas from the pumps has while its in the fuel tank of your boat. Not an experiment. It's fact and you'll see it right here and now. Sponsored by fishpile.com

Another GREAT reason to NOT use additives that contain more alcohol!

  • EVAPORATIVE COOLING AND CONDENSATION

Evaporation is the process by which molecules in a liquid escape into the gas phase. As the most energetic molecules evaporate into the gas, the average energy of the molecules left behind decreases, so the liquid cools.

You might have noticed that when you pour alcohol on your skin, it cools your skin more than when you pour water on it. This reflects the greater volatility, or tendency to evaporate, of the alcohol. This cooling effect causes condensation.

  • Thanks Jeff for making an excellent video !

This Ethanol crap has got to go ! It destroys engine parts and stops engines dead !

Not to mention the cost of food, fertilizer, and everything else that has to do with corn production.

Wake up America Ethanol is not the answer,

  • Try the same experiment with pure gasoline. You will get the same condensation due to evaporating the gasoline. This has nothing to do with ethanol.

  • @ETHANOLSEEKER Ethanol is a good source of clean fuel for almost all gasoline powered engines. The maximum amount of ethanol you can mix with gasoline is 50%. The more Ethanol you mix, the less fuel efficient your engine becomes. Also please remember that Ethanol cannot be used in 2 stroke engines because 2 stroke oil does not properly mix with Ethanol. There are some vehicles which allow up to 85% Ethanol. They are called E85 vehicles.

  • there is a thing that injects water into your engine so u can use higher compression ratio because the gas now is so suck ass.

  • I want to produce Ethanol fuel in large scale from sugarcane in India. Can anyone tell me pls how to use ethanol fuel on all cars with mixing any petrol in it.Does it effect car/vans etc engines. How can i remove water from ethanol pls.

  • SO WAT IS HE SAYING THE GAS COMES OUT AND ITS ALL WATER IN THE TANK ?? IS IT E85 GAS ???? JEFF??

  • This demonstration shows you why cars run so well on an alcohol mix, it pulls moisture out of the fuel and also cools the intake. If you can find this stuff in your state-use it but don't let it sit in your tank.

  • sorry but gas does this also.it is something taught in school and is common knowledge

  • I've used the Star-Tron product now for about a year in our boats and my motorcycle and the difference is HUGE!!!! Star-Tron is our savior... My motorcycle ran great on ethanol, but if I let it sit a week with a tank, it would spit, sputter and just run like crap. With star-tron in the tank, I've let it go three weeks with NO issues. It wasn't a once in a while thing either. Anytime I used ethanol, it would do it. Thank you Starbrite!
