Sandy Baldwin,an Associate Professor from West Virginia University, spoke at UMBC on February 10, 2009. His lecture was titled: "Logging in and getting off: login, labor, and literature at the interface of the digital subject" Sandys scholarly work explores media technologies as rhetorical and aesthetic objects, asking how media structure our thought and experience. His particular focus is on continuities and borrowings between literary theory and theories of digital multimedia. Sponsored by the UMBC English Department.
