You've parroted the same bollox lie loyalists have been regurgitating since before the IRA reformed as a force in '69 from what was essentially a republican socialist rotary club who, had they taken their noses out of their books long enough to see the writing on the wall, might have done something about the UVF, going around bombing things and blaming the IRA to give credibility to their sick ethnic cleansing policy - a policy endorsed by their political fuhrers.

Had they taken the war to the UVF, they could have snuffed them out at the beginning but they did not believe that they were under threat from the loyalists. They thought the protestant working class would not have learned from the history of 30 years before when the same language was being used by European fascists.
