nacra 580 sailing 2009 with double trapeze in Kamakura Japan

We enjoyed the first nacra 580 sailing in 2009 in the sea of Kamakura, Japan on April 19, 2009. We did not have much wind in the morning, but wind directoin changed from the northeast to southwest in the afternoon, then it got windy like 6 to 7 meters per second, which turned out to be a very wonderful day for the very first sailing of 2009!!

I don't see any white-caps, I'm guessing the wind is about 10kts, yet you guys are flying a hull and having a blast! That doesn't even start to happen on an H16 until you hit at least 12kts ... is the sailplan flat top?

cool video, man i love those nacras, they are so efficient and sleek. i want to sell my hobie 16 and get one of those someday!

i rented a hobie when i was on okinawa, it was great.
