you dont have to do the command prompt commands, simply closing explorer will fix the problem

@hazmathews You can't just click browse because it uses explorer.exe which isn't open.

how would I do this if the file I want to delete is on my desktop? I am not sure what the path of my desktop is. Please reply. Thank you so much. :)

@sprsanta All you have to do is open the task manager, go to "New Task", then "Browse" and go to C:\WINDOWS and open explorer.exe.

my tutorial. just copy the folder name that u wanna delete and den run cmd and type in :del (paste da folder name ere or jus 2 or 3 starting words) and clik enta it will probably say cant find the folder but don worry jus go to dat folder and open it all da contents will be deleted den jus go bak n del da folda and it will delete

If you can't see anything on dektop just click ctrl+alt+delete and open task manager click file new task and enter explorer.exe that's it...

Here's my tutorial,
1st. Go to download(DOT)com
2nd Search Unlocker
3rd. Find Unlocker and download it.
4th. Install it
5. Delete the file you wanted to delete, click ''ok'' at the undeletable file will open up that same folder, DO NOT CLICK KILL PROCESS! click at ''unlock all''
Ok, try to delete the file 1 more time and...TA DA! Its fucking gone! :D
