2. Preservation of Culture
I-Kuan Tao incorporates the essence of the Chinese culture, and emphasizes the core teaching of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism as its core values. I-Kuan Tao adopts the values of Confucianism on establishing an upright living and cultivation of Tao as its main focus, so as to continue the lineage of Tao from past generations of masters, and pass on to the next generations by laying an appropriate path of complete cultivation embracing righteous living, cultivation of Tao, propagation of Tao, practicing Tao, and completion of Tao. I-Kuan Tao emphasizes on human relationship and virtuous moral conduct as the foundation, propriety as the standard conduct, helping and bringing sentient beings to receive Tao as the action, and perfect virtue and action as the guiding principle. From the one direct pointing by the master, starting with the transmission of the light to open the wisdom of life, through using the Three Treasures to cultivate, refining the mind from worldly matters, getting rid of bad habits, progressing gradually towards complete clarity, to finally attaining clarity of mind and seeing ones true nature, one is thus able to return to the original home and be reunited with our Heavenly Mother.
