@fuglymidgets Sorry, Mate. The unfortunate thing is that criminals by nature will always find the way to illegally procure firearms. Especially here in America. It is a sad truth and I wish it wasn't that way. Unfortunately, we not only should arm ourselves, but properly train ourselves to use these firearms safely. You may not agree in owning an assault rifle. That's your opinion and I respect that. Here, in America, the only real threat to a criminal is a gun owner.
@fuglymidgets Personally Im a shooter but here in Australia the rules are a fair bit harder, I'll admit the U.S. gun policy is a bit relaxed but shooting is a fun pastime, if you havent tried it do so before judging on it. Dont let morons be the soul reason for hating shooters, my guns are registered locked in a safe and the bolts are stored seperately. Thats law here I dont know aoubt anywhere else.
@GeneralG1810 ok, i understand that. But what i dont understand is the reason why an average civilian would have to arm himself so heavily, like SWAT officers rarely go into situations with such deadly weaponry
@usaray i live in a country where criminals and civilians alike cannot get their hands on automatic firearms. in australia house defense is a non issue, i also wonder if in america, houses are being assaulted by groups of armed criminals on such a volume that a civilian would not only need but would often use an automatic firearm.
@fuglymidgets To protect ourselves from those criminals who have these weapons and to give ourselves the advantage to not only overwhelm them, but to then go and wipe out any lingering components of that particular threat. You stay in your living room and throw a phone book at them when they come to rob and murder you. I'll be waiting for them with my carbine at my side.
