2nd part from below. We are NOT going to let this happen to other pets in shelters where we live. His life is going to mean something, even if it is only to us. We are going to do this and we are hopeing to take this project of ours further, nationwide some day. Shelter animals are the best!!!!!!!!

We are a grass roots non-profit organization that is just starting here in Washington. We are "The Booda Project", to help shelters in Washington help the animals they have in their possession. We are still trying to get our creditation so we can do more to help. We have adopted 4 animals from shelters, 1 dog and 3 cats. The project came about when we adopted an 8 wk old boxer mix puppy, at 11 wks old, he contracted parvo.

I remember when a lot of these animals came in, and I just want to thank everyone who has adopted from WHS. It really sucks to watch them sit in cages for most of their day. We try to interact with them as much as possible but a good home is the best cure for the shelter blues.
