When a minor child is in school, freedom of speech does not protect him when he is infringing on the civil rights of someone else. His 'freedom of speech' is not held higher than the victims right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And children don't have the right to bear arms, vote, enter into a legal contract, etc.
