@CheStillFighting oh ok i dont think it is but you know like bigger guys are tougher like we said murray. but in swedish elite isnt that tough either but sometimes it happens to be but no were near nhl :P sorry for my english btw.

@haschplanta indeed i have.love kronwall, what he does at a buck ninety is amazing.and yes, i recognize a lot of swedish players who are extremely tough. i wasn't questioning whether or not they CAN be tough, because obviously there are tons of tough Swedes.
what I was wondering about is if it was a cultural tendency, where perhaps Swedish hockey players are brought up to be tougher than North American players, through the junior ranks. Or perhaps toughness is part of there cultural identity.

does anyone else cringe when they see patrick kane get hit? Just because he has his mouthguard literally hanging out of his mouth in such a way that one wrong move and it might end up down his throat.
