This is a video about the lesser known eight-spoked wheel ichthys [ichthus] symbol. The other is the ichthys fish/Jesus fish/Christian fish.

"The use of the Ichthys symbol by early Christians appears to date from the end of the 1st century AD. Ichthus (ΙΧΘΥΣ, Greek for fish) can be read as an acrostic, a word formed from the first letters of several words. It compiles to "Jesus Christ, God's son, savior," in ancient Greek." - Wikipedia

  • Sorry this symbol predates Jesus and the Greek. It is the wheel in the sky by the which all things are created. The potters wheel can be found in Egypt and Babylon. It was because the Catholics embraced the paganism of these cultures they tied it in with Jesus. There is no image or symbol that refers to God or Jesus.

  • @ProveYourFaith Haha I am well aware of every fact you just stated. Just like the "christian fish" it was and is useful for some things. This just one of the fascinating methods that ancient Christians used when being persecuted.

  • Have you ever heard of Ki Roe

  • I would assume you are talking about chi (ki), but I have not heard it referred to as such.
