Presidential candidate Tom Vilsack congratulating Canada on their new 24 Hour clock system, I certainly hope he learns a bit more about Canada if he ever becomes president.

  • What's all this aboot?

  • Someone needs a history lesson. Canada did not burn the white house. That was done by the British. Silly thing for anyone to do. Better to crack open a few beers and watch a hockey game and see who wins.

  • to be fair, anywhere outside of the northeast or west coast should not be allowed to represent america

  • OMG lolz

  • @lindiensaoul That's not logical at all.

France rotates at the same speed as the rest of the planet, so it has 24 hours.

  • Tom Ballsack.

  • i live in quebec and nobody says '' it's 23 hours''

we say (in french) ''it's 11 hours''

we just don't say am or pm ...we figure that part out!

in france they say ''23 hours'' wich is logic because after all, everywhere in the world a day has 24 hours!

  • @bladit

I looked into it and according to wikipedia the Chinese used decimal time prior to the the introduction of western time in the 17th century. The French tried it in the late 18th century but obviously it failed to catch on.

    Thanks

  • In Quebec, where the main language is French they use a 24 hour clock, officially, like on road signs and such. But in the rest of Canada we use a 12 hour clock.

But no, to my knowledge I know of no country that uses metric time. I'm sure there might be some but it's not us.

  • Big difference between 12 and 20.
