In 1998, I made several dives at Stingray City, in Grand Cayman. This video is from my 2nd dive of the trip, so I am much more confident with leading the stingrays around (with a piece of fish in my hand). This clip also shows the dive master getting a green moray eel to come out of a small coral head. This eel really had it good when it managed to wolf down a lot of dead fish in the guide's plastic container. After it was through, it left the guide and swam over between my legs and a piece of coral. That definitely got my adrenaline going a bit.

  • Jim: Tommy, What do you want to do today?

Tommy: Eh Idk, lets go fuck with nature.

  • This people are so crazy to get that close to this animal... don't the know how dangerous they are??

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • hey riptor01 do u see him getting heart?didnt think so

  • @GerardoOchoa I've only run into Stingrays on the bottom a few times. The most interesting time was in the Galapagos, when I got lost and the visibility was really poor. I think that's why I was able to swim up to within 10 feet or so of a couple of large stingray. They kept their distance so I wasn't able to do anything like what is on this video.

  • @mithrandyr89 No, they are quite gentle and those at Stingray City are so used to people that greet you as puppies. Of course you have to be cautious but not afraid.

  • @shrapnel200 Morays aren't poisonous but could be aggressive at times. Timming matters. The same applies to stingrays. The Crocodile Hunter always treated animals roughly for the sake of showing off. Actually the surprise is he didn't have a major accident before the one that costed him his life.

  • @everybodylovesdonuts not to mention that Erwin loved to show off bullying the animals. I snorkel and dive surrounded by stingrays and I've never have had any unpleasant encounter, but true, I don't pull them all around. In this video Emophiliac is being very gentle and not risking any dangerous outcome. You can gently touch both eels and stingrays provided they approach you first. Don't ever try to touch them if they are not aware of your presence of if they are acting aggressively.

  • take it easy with stingray. they are extremely dangerous

  • @shrapnel200 they say that Steve Erwin could have actually lived if he hadn't of just ripped the stinger out of himself...
