@AciDbeHeMotH Yes there are spirits, good and evil. But they are not our ancestors or "ghosts" as such. Evil being fallen angels and good ones being the true angels.

There is no written proof that Andrew jackson went to the bell home.. He did have land in the area but there is no documented proof.

You may not have liked the movie, but it is absolutely true that Andrew Jackson went to the scene in order to see for himself if the rumors were true, that a spirit/demon/entity was harassing the family. He truly said that he would rather go to war then have to face the evil in that house.
