Dangers of Heresy, False Teaching & Occultic Practices

Here is a video that explains why & how heresy & false teachings are used to deceive and "lord over" others with different messages in order to follow different spirits and voices that are telling people to do things that are in direct opposition with the word of God, the Bible.

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

Matthew 24:24
"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect."

2 Peter 2:1-3
"But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep."

1 Corinthians 5:11-12
"But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler--not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?"

Revelation 21:7-9
"He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Acts 8:21-23
"You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity."

1 John 1:8-10
"If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us."

I liked parts of your video.. but I have to tell you, the person I was, is dead! I am a new creature. Do not desire fully to be around my unsaved family(mom, dad, sis, bro) anymore, I do care for their souls, but it's hard, because they think they are saved, but are decieved, and hard to be around. No, you are mistaken. You are missing the point. The creator of this video has correctly noted that we are, as Christians, under the lordship of Christ and no man can lawfully exert control of others thoughts, beliefs, etc. We are free to trust God and His will for our life as He reveals it to us as individuals. And we have free will to accept or reject Christ.

what one considers sin is not sin to another person. Fornication for example wasn't even defined as sex outside marriage until over 1300 yrs after Jesus. It was originally defined as illegal sex particularly in the vaults of the courtyards. U should do research OUTSIDE the bible to understand it better.
